The fight against the corona virus is taking its toll on medical staff in China. Chinese nurses have shared photos of their faces that clearly show the fatigue in the fight against the coronavirus.
Last week, Trouw.nl reported that six Chinese medical workers have died from the corona virus and that more than 1,700 doctors and nurses have been infected since last Tuesday.
There is a chronic shortage of protective material, which only increases the risk of contamination. Medical materials are also reused when they should actually be replaced.
