An extra pinch of salt here and there while cooking… Not a good idea!

An American study (with more than 12,000 American participants) has shown that people who a lot sodium (including from table salt), but little potassium (fruits and vegetables), almost 50 percent more likely to die to any disease. The chance of a heart attack is even twice as high.

Sodium and potassium are two important minerals that are opposites in the body. Unfortunately, our diet contains far too much sodium (via excessive use of table salt ) and too little potassium. Especially food products that we buy in the store , contain way too much salt.
