Denmark sets a strong example in sustainability. Recently, Wefood supermarket opened in Copenhagen, offering products that would otherwise end up in landfills.
Wefood also stocks items damaged during transport. Partnering with major Danish supermarkets and smaller manufacturers, the store rescues surplus goods. Prices are 30 to 50 percent lower than at standard retailers.
