Three-quarters of Dutch people actively battle excess weight through dieting, according to a global obesity survey by Reader's Digest.
Finland leads the pack: More than eight in ten residents there have dieted at least once. The Netherlands comes in a close second. Notably, dieting is more common among Dutch women (82%) than men (64%).
Another key finding: One in three Dutch people believes their partner is overweight, while their partner is often unaware of this perception.
