In the Netherlands, one in five people suffer from shoulder pain (2020). These issues often persist and recur frequently. Starting November 13, our shoulder outpatient clinic brings together expert orthopedic surgeons and physiotherapists for collaborative care.
The clinic welcomes patients twice a month. Each visit provides a precise diagnosis and tailored referral suited to the individual's needs.
Treatment options include surgery by an orthopedic surgeon, physiotherapy, or specialized rehabilitation in our shoulder group therapy sessions.
Through this initiative, VUmc aims to minimize shoulder complaints, alleviate symptoms effectively, and help patients recover swiftly.
