Good treatment of vaginal complaints after menopause or pregnancy

Vaginal complaints after menopause or pregnancy, we should talk about it anyway. It may not be the most fancy topic, but it is a very important one. Especially since it is rarely talked about. There is quite a taboo on vaginal complaints and discussing them. This while many women experience problems after (or during) the menopause or after pregnancy.

I myself am one of them. I do not recognize all the complaints below, but I can tell you that after my pregnancy something has changed in spontaneous trampolining, for example. In addition, my early menopause also contributes a little. Brrrr.

Table of Contents

Different kinds of vaginal-diseases

I will first list the common complaints for you.

Vaginal-complaints after the menopause

The mucosa of the vagina becomes thinner . during menopause and therefore also less blood flow † In addition, the menopause can lead to vaginal complaints such as a dryer vagina , or a less elastic vaginal wall. About 40% of women are confronted with this. We don't have to tell any woman that a dry vagina is not really pleasant during sex, but did you know that it can also lead to inflammation more quickly ?

Pain during sex and itching are also mentioned as well-known vaginal complaints after the menopause. All thanks to the reduction of the hormone estrogen.

Vaginal-complaints after pregnancy

Quite a few vaginal complaints can also arise after pregnancy. To a greater or lesser extent, the elasticity of the vaginal wall also decrease here, because it has been stretched. As a result, the vagina is less sensitive is less pleasant during sex and therefore making love is.

A second (common) ailment is involuntary leakage of urine † In fact… 1 in 4 women suffer from urine loss after pregnancy. Fortunately, this does not all have to be permanent and there are exercises that can improve and strengthen the pelvic floor again. Yet there are still women who permanently tick urine loss in their list of vaginal complaints. Not a great idea of course.

What can be done about these-vaginal-complaints?

Tablets, cream or vaginal suppositories sometimes want to lend a hand in case of complaints related to the reduction of estrogen.

Today, however, there is also some news, I read. A laser treatment against the vaginal complaints. And even though there is a taboo on it, if people can be helped with it, I still think that we should make these kinds of issues negotiable. In addition to the laser treatment below, you can also get started at home with the Silk'n Tightra!

Laser treatment can improve a lot in a short time

The laser treatment I received a press release about is the Femilift. The Femilift laser stimulates the mucous membranes of the vagina, which strengthens the vagina and improves blood flow. This improves elasticity, the vagina becomes moist more quickly and the sexual stimuli are better stimulated. I can tell you that the latter is no superfluous luxury after the transfer 😉 .

This treatment is actually suitable for all women and gives good results. You need an average of 3 treatments (every 4 to 6 weeks). In 80-90% of the women, the complaints of burning, dryness, pain during sex disappear completely or almost completely. If you would use the laser treatment to remedy mild urine loss, 80-85% of the treated women would be satisfied with it. Those are nice results!

How about you?

As always, I'm also curious how you experience this. Against my better judgment, I ask that question here, even though I realize that with my blog the taboo has not suddenly disappeared and you might prefer not to talk about it.

Do you suffer from something and is it so disturbing that it affects your enjoyment of life or limits you? In any case, don't hesitate to call in good help and, for example, go to your doctor. There are plenty of options these days and that means you don't have to keep worrying. Are you looking for more information about the Femilift? I received the press release from Willeke Kamphof, dermatologist with his own practice.

Good luck! xxx
