This week, the national 'The Netherlands Says Yes' organ donation campaign officially launched.
It encourages Dutch residents who haven't registered yet to make a clear choice about organ donation.
Almost half the population—7.5 million people—haven't registered their donor preference. Yet, nearly three million are open to donating organs. The campaign helps them decide and register officially.
Key organizations, including the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, have united to address the critical shortage of donor organs.
