From Monday, September 14 to Friday, September 18, staircases take center stage across the Netherlands. Over 200,000 employees will make a conscious choice to climb stairs during the 3rd annual National Stair Climbing Week.
The Diabetes Fund, in partnership with the Netherlands Institute for Sport and Exercise (NISB)'s 30-minute movement campaign, highlights how stair climbing boosts health and helps prevent type 2 diabetes.
This initiative, backed by health experts, encourages employers and employees to rethink daily habits. Opting for stairs over the elevator is a simple switch that delivers real health benefits.
