At 08:00 today, Donor Week officially launched. Since the JaofNo campaign began, organ donor registrations have surged. Yet, only 1 in 10,000 people who say 'yes' actually donate organs after death. That's why it's crucial to register your choice if you haven't already.
Typically, around 2,000 people register or update their preferences each week. Last year, the first day of Donor Week alone saw 15,000 completed forms. 90 percent of those who submit during Donor Week choose 'yes.'
