A Scottish study demonstrates that dancing and other cultural pursuits can significantly enhance well-being. Key findings:
– Attending a cultural activity in the past year made individuals 60 percent more likely to report good health than non-attendees.
– Active participation in cultural activities raised good health odds by 38 percent.
– Library visits increased the likelihood of good health by 20 percent.
– Theatergoers were 25 percent more likely to be in good health.
– Reading a book boosted good health chances by 33 percent.
