Microkinesitherapy may not be a household name, even among those of us deeply immersed in alternative medicine. As a longtime enthusiast and practitioner follower, I only recently discovered it after a friend shared how it resolved her family's chronic issues years ago. Intrigued, I booked a session with a certified microkinesio therapist.
A microkinesio therapist is a state-certified physiotherapist—or occasionally a physician—with specialized training in this method. This micropalpatory technique uses precise hand gestures to detect traces of past aggressions in the body's tissues causing dysfunction. By identifying these, the therapist activates the body's innate self-correction mechanisms, restoring tissue vitality.
When the body faces aggression—like injury or infection—it naturally mobilizes defenses (e.g., wound healing, bone consolidation, antibody production). But sometimes, these fail, leaving lingering scars that impair function. Microkinesitherapy reignites stalled self-healing, allowing tissues to normalize—even addressing events from years prior.

Unlike the firm manipulations of osteopathy or etiopathy, sessions involve light, targeted palpations—you stay fully clothed. In one relative, the therapist pinpointed an emotionally traumatic event from 15 years ago with lasting psychological effects. By the second session, that 'scar' had self-corrected, and emotional balance was restoring.
For me, it uncovered food poisoning that disrupted my digestion—misdiagnosed by my doctor as a UTI despite negative tests. The correction was swift. Sessions address infections, toxins, deficiencies, and emotional 'memory' lesions, conscious or subconscious.
Typically, just two sessions, one month apart, suffice. If no improvement, it may not suit you, or another approach is needed—a transparent and reassuring policy. Sessions last about 30 minutes, costing 45-48€, with partial reimbursement from some insurers.
