"I eat only when hungry, starting with a large oat milk cappuccino. I typically skip solids until 11 or noon, turning it into brunch. Favorites: two toasted corn thins with vegan butter, Violife cheese, or Kips vegan pâté."
"Summers call for afternoon smoothies blended with oat and coconut rice milk, banana, frozen spinach and kale cubes, apple, linseed, and cinnamon."

"As a junk food vegan, I crave fries, pizza, and cheeseburgers. We balance with nutrient-packed bowls: whole grain rice, bulgur, buckwheat noodles, or pearl couscous, loaded with vegetables, tofu, tempeh, or plant-based 'chicken'. Occasionally, spelt spaghetti in creamy sauce from soaked raw cashews, nutritional yeast, garlic, lemon juice and zest, herbs, and oat milk—served with fresh dill, green asparagus, and broccoli. Heaven!"
"Snacking fuels my day, healthy or indulgent: cashew camembert, organic fruit, raw veggies with curry hummus, Albert Heijn cinnamon rolls, chips, or vegan praline chocolate. Alcohol is rare; one coffee daily, plus endless herbal tea and water."
