Serious Request is taking a bold new approach this year. Three DJ teams from 3FM will enter lockdown together to support the battle against COVID-19.
From December 18 to 24, they'll isolate at the former Twenthe Air Base. All proceeds will benefit the Red Cross, providing essential personnel and resources to ease the strain on healthcare providers in the Netherlands and worldwide.

NPO 3FM states: "Emergency services, local clinics, and hospitals everywhere are under immense strain from the COVID-19 pandemic. They are overwhelmed, often with devastating results."
The teams are Wijnand Speelman and Rob Janssen, Sander Hoogendoorn and Sophie Hijlkema, and Frank van der Lende and Eva Koreman.
A planned route from Roermond to Zwolle was postponed for a year due to the pandemic.
