The chair of the Dutch Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (NVOG) aligns with the minister against routine procedures, emphasizing counseling for women and exploring alternatives.
Per NVOG's Van Lith, hospital cases number only a few annually, with most occurring at commercial private clinics.
