Men report tuning out seven times a week on average, while women do so six times. This pattern highlights a common dynamic in relationships, backed by surveys of over 2,000 respondents.
However, it may not stem from disinterest. Over half of respondents worry their partner has hearing difficulties. Six in ten note their partner cranks up the TV or radio volume excessively, and four in ten report complaints about noisy social gatherings like parties or birthdays.
