In the honeymoon phase of a relationship, we all strive to present our best selves. But farting—or 'letting a breeze'—in front of your partner raises a common dilemma: Is it taboo, or are you bold enough to go there?
Seasoned relationship coach Leonie Linssen advises RTLnieuws.nl on this unwritten rule: "Prefer not to do it the first time, because that makes people very offended. I would wait until you are sure you want to continue with your partner. Often a couple of months pass before a couple does that together."

Pooping in an adjacent room is another milestone. A Lexa.nl survey of 1,200 men and women aged 18-50 found that just 4% feel comfortable doing so after 6-12 months together, while 18% still hold off after a year. Positively, 35% take the step after only two weeks.
