This large-scale analysis reviewed data from 15 top life-expectancy countries in Europe, Asia, and North America. Swiss women live longest at an average of 79.03 years, while Australian men top the list at 74.1 years.

The Netherlands ranks fifth for both women (78.17 years) and men (72.60 years), reflecting strong national health outcomes.
Portugal trails in both categories, with women at 69.19 years and men at 64.77 years.
Dr. Collin Payne, the researcher behind the study, highlights simple yet vital factors: access to nutritious food and minimal conflicts. "Australia, for example, has enjoyed a very high standard of living for decades," he explains.
