My Dandelion Detox Mask Nobody Knows.

My Dandelion Detox Mask Nobody Knows.

Dandelion is free.

We pick it and then we can cook it.

It can also be used for care or as a cosmetic.

In this article, I offer you a homemade detox mask after picking dandelions.

I am a picking enthusiast. I regularly make myself 100% picking salads, so 100% free, but I also use my pickings to make herbal teas or masks.

The Virtues of Dandelion for the Skin

Dandelion is excellent for fighting aging skin. Rich in vitamins, minerals and trace elements, dandelion is one of the richest vegetables in provitamins A. Its action against free radicals is effective in keeping skin young and supple for a very long time.

Also called "lion's tooth", dandelion is especially excellent for draining the skin and purifying it. Dandelion is also "piss in bed". It is often said that the name of the plants indicates its benefits (example of the pulmonary for the greatest good of our lungs).

Thanks to it, I eliminate even more toxins from my face and the radiance of my skin is even better.

Dandelion Detox Mask Recipe

All perky after my picking, all exhilarated from having taken the great outdoors, I come home warm to take care of my face. Sunday is sacred!

1. I pick 3 big handfuls of dandelions (leaves and flowers) in my picking basket and I pass them through the juicer. (I peck some very yellow flowers while waiting :) )

2. I take 3 tablespoons of the juice obtained in a bowl.

3. I add 3 spoonfuls of powdered green clay and I make my grub by mixing well (be careful, with a wooden spatula when you master the clay, always)

4. I add a little water slightly until I get a fairly creamy and viscous paste (like day creams).

5. I throw a bit of Beirut or Devendra Banhart in my music playlist.

6. I spread my mixture on my face and I'm going to slump in the chair for about twenty minutes.

7. I struggle a little to get up and I go to rinse my face with warm water. There you go.

8. I'm smiling in the mirror! :-)

Have you ever used dandelion for cooking, cosmetics or health care? I would love for you to discuss it with me in the comments.

Savings achieved

We often forget that nature is full of treasure that we can use in many ways. Wild plants are particularly rich in vitamins, minerals and trace elements and it would be a real shame to deprive yourself of them... it's free!

Given the price of classic facial cosmetics at the supermarket, I much prefer to invest in clay and in a short Sunday walk. It's less stressful than the supermarket, much more economical and above all I know what I put in my homemade mask. Guaranteed 100% free of additives!

Natural ultra-ventilated green clay costs less than €5 for 300g and with that, you have at least 6 months of masks. I buy it outright in a 1.5kg jar or elsewhere for less than €11 and there, I have plenty to do, it's frankly profitable.

In any case, it will be a good investment since it can be used for health, beauty and even in the kitchen or for cleaning.
