New Research: Couples Massage Reduces Stress and Boosts Well-Being

Recent research demonstrates that giving your partner a massage significantly enhances well-being for both. In a study, 38 couples completed a three-week massage course, evaluating their physical and mental health, stress levels, coping abilities, and relationship satisfaction via pre- and post-massage questionnaires across eight key areas. Results showed sustained improvements in well-being, reduced perceived stress, and better stress management, with effects persisting at a three-week follow-up. Each session notably boosted physical and emotional health. Remarkably, 91% of participants recommended mutual massages to friends and family.
