The older you get, the more influence caffeine has on your sleep

For most people, a cup of coffee (or two) in the morning has no influence on the night's sleep.

Did you know that a link has been found between your age and the influence that caffeine has on your sleep? If you are sensitive to caffeine – and it was your birthday recently – it might be a good idea to take a closer look at your coffee routine.

A study found that the metabolism of 65 to 70-year-olds takes an average of 33 percent longer to process caffeine. The coffee you drank in the afternoon can still be in your system when you go to bed.
