Snack attack:this is what your binge eating tells you

Irresistible craving for a whole bar of milk chocolate with nuts, urgent craving for a special frikadel… What is your snack weakness? And what does your body actually want to say to you?

Recognizable? After a long day, plop down on the couch and let go of all the brakes. Whatever you have in your house, you'll fall for it:chips, cheese and mustard, chocolate, and even that jar of peanut butter. You may think it's happening to you, but binge eating can be a signal from your body that there is a shortage of essential nutrients. It is, as it were, an alarm bell that warns you:'Important vitamins and minerals are missing'. Unfortunately, you often misunderstand this cry for help and think that you feel like doing unhealthy things. Poor nutrition can 'taste' like a nutrient your body wants to consume. For example, a huge craving for chocolate is created by a magnesium deficiency, but a box of chocolates contains far too little of this nutrient to really make up for the deficiency.
