STOP AIDS NOW!: Dedicated to Building a World Free of AIDS

Over half a million women died from AIDS last year—equivalent to the entire female population of Amsterdam.

World AIDS Day
Today is World AIDS Day, a solemn reminder of AIDS as the leading cause of death for women aged 15 to 45 worldwide.

More Care is Needed
In the Netherlands, effective treatment allows those with HIV to live healthy lives, and women can give birth without transmitting the virus. In many other countries, the reality is starkly different: AIDS has orphaned 17.8 million children by taking one or both parents.

STOP AIDS NOW! remains steadfastly committed to a world without AIDS. Our projects enhance access to treatment, prevention, and education while championing the rights of women, girls, and their children. More about STOP AIDS NOW>>
