Spring is prime time for focusing on weight and eating habits. Eurest's research in Dutch company restaurants, surveying over 300 guests, shows men and women are equally enthusiastic. Healthy options like the salad bar, meal salads, and fruit and dairy bar are seeing double the popularity in canteens.
Conscious Choices
Half of respondents track daily calories, with women more vigilant than men. A quarter deliberately choose products to support weight loss or improve their figure.
Label Challenges
Consumers are scrutinizing product labels more closely, but one in eight finds them unclear or hard to read—especially older adults.
