A leading sleep resource site has launched what many call the ultimate dream job: paying five selected candidates the equivalent of a full month's minimum wage to test siesta practices over 30 days.
In recent years, we've seen quirky dream job ads pop up—like getting paid to eat tacos, travel 15 countries, promote gin, or even experience orgasms. On May 31, 2021, U.S.-based EachNight took it to new heights, offering $1,500 for a month of simply sleeping.
EachNight typically compares mattresses and shares expert sleep tips. This time, they're recruiting five full-time participants for a nap practice study to uncover the pros and cons of short versus long naps.
Participants will run experiments aimed at pinpointing the ideal nap length for peak refreshment upon waking. The study will also track naps' impact on memory, motivation, productivity, and overall fatigue levels.

Applications, open to anyone 18+ worldwide, closed June 30—too late to apply now. Winners will be announced soon. Living alone is a plus, ensuring undisturbed sleep. During the month, participants must log their experiences in English, detailing mood, sensations, and energy.
