France recorded its first COVID-19 death over the weekend—an 80-year-old from China's Hubei province who arrived in Paris on January 23—marking the first fatality outside Asia.
A 12th case emerged among British tourists quarantined in Contamines-Montjoie, Haute-Savoie, following an initial confirmation and five additional cases in the group.
