In a surprising announcement, veteran presenter Johan Derksen revealed during Veronica Inside's final episode of the year that his colleague Hélène Hendriks has been hospitalized.
The cause of her admission remains undisclosed. A Talpa spokesperson declined to provide further details.

Hélène was scheduled to present an award at a football club's sports park for Veronica Inside, tied to sponsor Toto funding. Derksen explained in the broadcast: "Hélène was supposed to do the award ceremony there, but I got a call that she is in hospital."
When co-panelist René van der Gijp inquired further, Derksen cited privacy regulations as the reason he couldn't elaborate.
Last July, Hélène featured prominently in Santé magazine with an in-depth interview on her lifestyle.
