Enough sleep does not mean that your night s sleep is good enough

For a study commissioned by the Brain Foundation, 34 studies with data on nighttime sleep were compared. The data shows that the Dutch do sleep enough, but not always well.

About 90 percent sleep for seven to nine hours, as recommended. Women sleep slightly longer than men, but worse:women have more trouble falling asleep, sleep less well and use more sleep medication than men.

There are three main sleep problems:difficulty falling asleep, difficulty staying asleep and waking up early.
