Over Half of Dutch Young Adults Seek Help to Eat Healthier, Nutrition Center Research Reveals

More than half of Dutch young adults want support to improve their diets, according to research from the Nutrition Center.

Among over 1,000 participants aged 20-29, 54% expressed a desire to eat healthier in 2020. Yet, this group often struggles with poor habits, such as cooking less frequently, visiting the snack bar, skipping breakfast, and eating in front of the TV or computer.

A third of respondents want guidance on healthier eating, with most preferring online resources. That's why the Nutrition Center launched The New Food campaign.

The New Food
This initiative features monthly email tips on healthier eating and has been a hit—over 100,000 Dutch people signed up in just over a year.

The campaign focuses on your current eating patterns, making gradual improvements for lasting change. Visit www.voedingscentrum.nl for more.
