Deodorant Does Not Cause Cancer: KWF Kankerbestrijding Debunks Common Myth

Deodorants won't give you cancer. That's the clear message from KWF Kankerbestrijding, the Dutch Cancer Society, in their latest awareness campaign.

Many people wrongly believe that using deodorant can lead to breast cancer. As a leading authority in cancer research and prevention, KWF emphasizes that no scientific evidence has ever supported this claim.

Healthy lifestyle choices can prevent 35 to 50 percent of cancer cases. In the Netherlands, about 30 percent of cancer deaths are caused by smoking. Other key risk factors include poor diet, lack of exercise, obesity, excessive alcohol, and unprotected sun exposure.
