In the blogging world, tags are a fun way to spark conversations. For those new to it, a blogger tag is a set of questions created by one blogger and passed along to others. You copy the questions, credit the originator, and share your honest answers. Today, I'm launching my own: the 'What Makes Me Nervous' tag. It's inspired by those everyday moments that set my nerves on edge—something we all experience.
Right now, my anxiety levels are higher than usual as I prepare for an upcoming procedure. So, I brainstormed a list of my top triggers. Here's the tag, followed by my candid responses based on years of personal experience.

Here are the four questions:
These are the situations that consistently challenge my composure:
A classic fear for many, but mine started after a painful root canal. The intense physical discomfort was unlike anything I'd felt before. Since then, I've avoided appointments unless absolutely necessary.
I'm fine discussing ideas around a table with executives, but standing alone in front of a group? That's my kryptonite. Despite past successes and compliments, the nerves kick in every time—it's purely internal.
In the blogging scene, events are common, and I've built connections. But arriving alone, unsure if I'll know anyone, feels daunting. Do you ever feel this way?
Today's the day—8:30 AM surgery. Despite positive stories from others, the uncertainty has me on edge. It's not pain I'm dreading, just the unknown. I'll share the full experience in my next post.
I skip or delay appointments far too often. I only go when it's critical, especially to set a good example for my kids. Relief hits hard afterward.
Sweaty armpits and possible neck blotches. I worry it's obvious, but feedback says it isn't—outsiders rarely notice.
I become more selective, often citing busyness as an excuse. Bloggers generally love events, but this holds me back sometimes.
It's dominated my thoughts for weeks—constant mental countdown. Today marks the end of waiting, followed by recovery.
Not really. Valium for the dentist feels extreme. Instead, I talk more when anxious—not faster, just more. Classic coping mechanism.
I'm tagging Lisette from Lisetteschrijven.nl and Cynthia from Misslipgloss.nl. Lisette's bold Lieve Sil impressions make me curious—what rattles her? Cynthia's beauty blog shows she's conquered fears; what's left?
Bloggers, grab this tag and share yours. Readers, I'd love to hear your triggers too—let me know in the comments!
