The British have long cherished their tea habit, and now science backs why: tea significantly benefits brain health.
Regular tea drinkers show more organized brain structures than non-drinkers, per a rigorous study from the National University of Singapore and the Universities of Essex and Cambridge.

Researchers examined brain scans from 36 people over age 60. Participants who drank tea at least four times weekly for 25 years had stronger, more efficient connections across brain regions compared to non-tea drinkers.
This landmark study is the first to confirm tea's direct benefits for brain organization. Lead researcher Fenk Lei explains that tea offers protective effects against age-related brain decline.
