Better environment through your food

Healthy food is better for your body, but also for the environment.

Your delicious piece of meat or fish does not just end up on your plate. On average, we emit 11 kilograms of CO² every day, a third of which comes from our diet. Meat in particular has a high environmental impact.

Good job
By replacing beef one day a week with a meat substitute such as tofu or a vegetable or soy burger, you reduce your own CO2 emissions for that week by 10 percent. That is a considerable reduction, especially when you consider how much of an effect all those greenhouse gases have on the environment.

How do you save? The most savings can be made with meat, dairy, drinks and snacks such as sweets and snacks. An additional advantage is that it is not only good for the environment, but also for your body and health.
