Protect Your Skin: RIVM Warns of High UV Levels to Prevent Quick Sunburn

A good sunscreen application is crucial today, as UV levels are reaching very high values.

High UV Index
The National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) is warning about elevated UV radiation. For several days, the UV index has ranged between 6 and 7, meaning you can burn very quickly without protection.

Apply Sunscreen Generously
The UV index indicates how long your skin can be exposed to the sun before reddening. At level 7, unprotected and unacclimated skin can burn in just 15 minutes. Always apply sunscreen generously before heading out, and seek shade periodically for added safety.
