Time is critical. The app notifies users with medical training of nearby incidents, reducing reliance on ambulances that typically arrive in about 10 minutes. Those initial moments can make all the difference.
The app activates automatically when bystanders report an accident to an emergency center. Any user within several hundred meters receives a push notification detailing the location, incident type, and nearest emergency equipment.
Developed in the Netherlands, the I Can Help app is in testing but has already earned the prestigious Microsoft Innovation Partner of the Year award.
