2. Shave after a shower to open skin pores.
3. Rinse blades during shaving—keep a small cup of water nearby or wipe with a washcloth.
Note: This homemade shaving cream doesn't foam up; apply it in a thin layer. Its texture blends shaving oil and soap for effective glide.
This yields about 150g. Apply a thin layer to skin before shaving.
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1/3 cup shea butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, jojoba, or sweet almond oil
- 2 tablespoons liquid Castile soap
1. In a small saucepan, melt shea butter and coconut oil over low heat. Stir until fully melted.

2. Stir in olive oil. Remove from heat.

3. Transfer to a medium bowl or jar; refrigerate until solid.

4. Remove from fridge and transfer to a bowl if needed. Prepare to whip.

5. Whip with a hand blender or stand mixer until frothy (3-4 minutes).

6. Add Castile soap and whip until blended.
