My 5 Favorite Essential Oils:How To Use Them?

Whether for health, beauty, or good -be, you know, I use essential oils.

They have many virtues, I often say so, but they should not be used blindly.

Each has its favorite areas:each treatment has its own essential oil.

Some de-stress, others help digestion. Some also help us lose weight, quit smoking, or even clean up.

These essential oils, I find them essential! But I refuse to use them improperly or carelessly.

1. Health:eucalyptus, peppermint

- I use eucalyptus during my colds and my angina, in order to unclog my bronchial tubes and my nose. I put a few drops in my infusions and inhalations.

Be careful, I do not give it to my young children !

I can, however, put a few drops in a diffuser. If I want to use it externally, for me or a child from 10 years old, I dilute it.

- peppermint , meanwhile, has many virtues:on a sugar it soothes headaches, slows nausea, helps digestion and fights constipation.

2. Beauty:grapefruit, lemon

We very often give you beauty recipes (masks, creams, hair sprays), which contain a few drops of essential oil. My favorites for beauty (but there are others) are:

- The grapefruit which is astringent and fights water retention. It is perfect in anti-cellulite care.

- The lemon , which has all the virtues, as you know, especially that of restoring shine to our hair.

3. Well-being:lavender is star

- Lavender is sedative, anti-depressant, facilitates blood circulation, and it is also useful for animals (vermifuge, anti-parasite).

I use it for the whole family, in the bath, as a diffuser, or I put a few drops on my pillow.

- To help me sleep better, especially when I'm nervous, and especially if I'm quitting smoking, I add a few drops of chamomile to my hot evening bath or pin .

Essential precautions

Essential oils have essential virtues and make our lives easier, without medicating us for a yes or a no.

But they have their side effects and contraindications. We remind them regularly.
