Small warts are unsightly and uncomfortable. Fortunately, a centuries-old grandmother's remedy—celandine—offers an effective, natural solution.
Known scientifically as greater celandine (Chelidonium majus) or "wartweed," this antibacterial plant has been trusted for generations to eliminate warts.
It's no surprise grandmothers still rely on it today.
In its natural habitat, celandine thrives in ruins, along walls, paths, and woodland edges. You'll spot it easily on walks; we've included a photo for identification.

1. Break off a stem to release the yellow juice.
2. Apply the juice directly to the wart with your fingertips every 2 days until it disappears.
Your wart will soon be gone! :-)
During healing, avoid irritating the area to prevent bleeding or infection.
To prevent recurrence, maintain good hygiene and avoid skin-to-skin contact with infected individuals.
Ideal for 1-2 warts, celandine is completely free as it grows wild everywhere.
As with any home remedy, skip it for serious skin issues. Consult a dermatologist for persistent or widespread warts for proper treatment.
