There’s nothing worse than noticing those telltale white flakes on your shoulders, right?
Fortunately, I’m sharing my trusted nettle lotion recipe—a natural solution I’ve used successfully to fight dandruff.
As someone experienced with herbal remedies, I’ve long appreciated nettles for their medicinal, beauty, and nutritional benefits, as we’ve covered before.
Skip the pricey shampoos, magic creams, or dermatologist bills for now—try this simple homemade lotion first. It’s effective and backed by tradition.
You’ll see results—let me know how it goes!

1. Gather two generous handfuls of fresh nettle leaves (wear gloves—they sting!).
2. Macerate them for two days in 50 cl of 40° alcohol.
3. Massage the lotion into your scalp regularly, once or twice a week, alongside your regular shampoos.
Consistent use of this homemade lotion will help your dandruff disappear in just a few weeks. :-)
It keeps for two weeks and yields 4 to 5 applications.
