Reclaim Your Energy: My Proven Tips for Conscious Choices and Lasting Vitality

Imagine feeling energized, tackling tasks effortlessly, and experiencing that uplifting 'happy vibe.' I've missed that spark in recent years, but no more excuses—boosting my energy is now my top priority. Here's how I'm making it happen, drawing from my own experience.

Getting energy and feeling fit used to be possible too!

Over the past month, I've examined my habits closely—and the results surprised me. Sixteen years ago, when I met my partner Frank, I was bursting with energy. I rode my two horses daily, ran early mornings before work several times a week, and biked to the office on nice days.

What's left of that vibrant routine? Very little. Evenings now find me on the couch with my husband, binge-watching shows. I've struggled with exercise for years, inventing excuses to skip it.

How come I haven't been energetic for years?

It's a combination of factors: my indulgent lifestyle (yes to snacks and drinks!), raising children, running my own business (non-stop hustle), perimenopause, and more. My father's serious illness adds stress—rushing between places, irregular meals, mindless snacking, and evening TV munchies when exhausted.

These habits, plus my changing body at age 46, have left me feeling drained and uncomfortable in my skin.

How am I going to feel good again?

To restore my energy and well-being, I'm focusing on mindful eating, paired with regular exercise and quality sleep. As someone who's navigated these challenges firsthand, I know sustainable changes beat drastic overhauls.

Enter sugar-conscious challenge

Food is my weakness. While our family eats relatively healthily, the scale tells a different story—compounded by early menopause and age. But it's the lack of energy that frustrates me most. I don't need to frolic like a young foal; I just want the stamina to keep up with my kids and daily life.

How sugar unconsciously takes over 'life'

The culprit? Hidden sugars: sweets on sandwiches, treats with coffee, evening cravings. A sugar-conscious approach fits my lifestyle without extremes. I'm not overhauling everything— that leads to burnout, especially with my love for good food. Instead, smarter choices, supported by Céréal products that blend seamlessly into family life.

Do eat 'sweet' food and a snack, but choose more consciously

When craving a treat, I opt for responsible alternatives with less sugar—for snacks, evenings, lunch, or breakfast. Think sugar-free muffins from Céréal.

At coffee time with the family? I join in with lower-sugar cookies or chocolate. Same satisfaction, stable blood sugar, fewer peaks and crashes.

For lunch or breakfast, Céréal strawberry jam on crackers hits the spot—delicious and mindful.

Conscious choices mean fewer sugar spikes, curbed cravings, and more steady energy.
