ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) is one of the most devastating neurodegenerative diseases, with no known cure and a terminal prognosis for all patients. Developing effective treatments demands significant research funding.
The ALS Netherlands Foundation is hosting the Toer voor ALS – Home Edition from Sunday, October 11, to Sunday, November 8, to generate crucial funds for ALS research. With many traditional events canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this initiative adapts by letting participants complete challenges in their local areas rather than a group tour through Limburg.
Choose your activity—running, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, touring, or hand biking. The challenge: Log as many kilometers as possible over four weeks and secure sponsorships from friends, family, and colleagues for your efforts.
