As someone who's dealt with persistent fridge odors for years, I've found my refrigerator's biggest flaw: it releases foul smells into the room every time it's opened. Spoiled cheese odors throughout the house? Not anymore!
I tested several natural remedies to neutralize those stubborn odors.
First, I tried the classic white vinegar bowl method. It kills bacteria and absorbs smells effectively, but it leaves behind a lingering vinegar scent.
Next up was lemon, which works well initially. However, it dries out quickly and requires frequent replacement, making it feel wasteful.
Then I discovered coffee grounds—a simple, effective solution. Here's how I did it:

1. Grab an empty container.
2. Fill it with fresh coffee grounds.
3. Place the container at the bottom of your fridge.
4. Replace the grounds regularly once they dry out.
Bad smells gone from my fridge! :-) The subtle coffee aroma is far more pleasant in the kitchen than vinegar, and it's based on real experience with no gimmicks.
