1. Mix one part water to 3 parts baking soda.

2. Stir well to obtain a homogeneous paste.

3. Apply this paste to the area where the splinter is.

4. Wrap everything in cling film.

5. Leave to act for at least 30 minutes. This preparation can be left to act for up to 2 hours, to be sure that the splinter has risen to the surface of the skin.
