2. Add a tablespoon of coarse salt to the hot water.

3. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes to bring up the thorn.

4. Burn the tip of a tweezer or a needle to disinfect it.

5. Gently extract the thorn that has started to protrude from the skin.
