Bronchitis, wet coughs, and sore throats are uncomfortable ailments we all want to resolve quickly.
As I've shared before, onions are packed with potent compounds that deliver anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects.
These make onions exceptionally effective at expelling mucus and thinning thick secretions from productive coughs or bronchitis.
Here's my trusted recipe for onion syrup to combat wet coughs:

1. Peel and slice 6 onions.
2. Put them in a bowl and add 4 tablespoons of honey.
3. Heat in a bain-marie.
4. Cover and cook slowly for 2 hours.
5. Filter.
Your onion syrup is ready to soothe your wet cough! Simple, practical, and effective.
Take 1 tablespoon of the cooled syrup every 2 to 3 hours.
It can be stored for 24 hours in your refrigerator.
