As a leading brain balance expert, Charlotte Labee underscores the critical need for National Brain Day to prioritize brain health education. "In these challenging times, enhancing mental well-being is essential," she explains. "We can achieve this by disseminating brain knowledge and prioritizing brain care."
Brain imbalances are affecting more people than ever, driving alarming rises in conditions like stress, obesity, burnout, depression, and dementia. Labee attributes this largely to lifestyle factors: "Chronic stress, sedentary behavior, excessive screen time, junk food, and inadequate sleep, relaxation, exercise, and nutrition are key contributors."

One in five Dutch people will experience depression in their lifetime, over 50% will face burnout symptoms, more than 62% report poor sleep, and 85% of millennials feel depressed. "It's time for change," Labee asserts. "This concerns me deeply, but collectively, we have the power to reverse this trend."
Labee is raising the alarm by declaring March 20 as National Brain Day, dedicated to brain knowledge and awareness. "Let's make an impact now," she urges. "By spreading brain insights and caring for our brains, we can reduce mental illness, imbalances, stress, and poor health." As she notes, "Greater brain awareness empowers us to adopt healthier lifestyles."
