Have you ever peed in a swimming pool? You're not alone. Scientific research reveals that an average public pool holds around 75 liters of urine.
A Canadian scientist conducted this eye-opening study by analyzing 250 water samples from 31 public pools. In one examined 25-meter pool containing 830,000 liters of water, 75 liters were urine.
Urine is also behind those red eyes after a swim, reacting with chlorine to form irritating compounds.
