The negative effect of a juice cure

Opinions differ on whether a juice cure is healthy or not. The Daily Beast published an interesting article there, citing an argument that often remains underexposed:all those juices are bad for the earth.

Juices:effect on the environment
A fruit bowl full of fruit can probably eat twice as many people if they just eat the fruit. If you use the fruit to make juice, it will be enough for fewer people. In addition, when you make juice, pulp remains. Some people use pulp to make pies or crackers, there are recipes where you use pulp. But to be fair, many people probably throw away the leftover pulp. Pulp emits methane, which contributes negatively to the greenhouse effect.

The article also discusses nutrients that would be lost if you juice fruits and vegetables. Curious? Read the article from The Daily Beast.
