No complicated medicines
Funnily enough, it is the simplest remedies that really have a positive effect on your cold. Chicken soup, for example, is really soothing. Honey can also do good because of its antibacterial effect.

Short cold
In most cases, a cold cannot be prevented, but the duration can be shortened by eating a healthy diet and getting enough vitamin C.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away
Apples do have positive effects on health (also eat the peel!), but not so much on a cold.

Alcohol
Surprising:a very limited amount of alcohol is supposed to be good for the immune system.
