Ever finish a swim with water trapped in your ears? Earwax buildup can trap it, allowing moisture to linger and bacteria to thrive—leading to painful swimmer's ear (otitis externa).
Thankfully, my doctor shared a simple, effective recipe for preventive drops. I've used them after every swim, and I've been infection-free ever since. Here's how:

1. Use the funnel to fill the bottle halfway with white vinegar, then halfway with alcohol.

2. Screw the cap on securely.

3. Shake well to mix.

Your preventive drops are ready—quick, easy, and reliable!
To use: After swimming, apply 4 drops in each ear. Tilt your head over a towel and gently shake to drain.
Why it works: Swimmer's ear stems from bacteria in trapped water behind wax. Vinegar balances ear canal pH and dilutes alcohol for gentleness (safe for kids). Alcohol dries out moisture effectively.

Important Warning: Do not use if you have an active ear infection—see a doctor for proper treatment.
I repurposed an old eye drop bottle; affordable new ones work too.
Label the bottle clearly with instructions to avoid mix-ups at the pool or beach.

For reused bottles, erase old labels to prevent confusion.
If using earplugs on flights or in noisy spots, apply drops before and after (let dry fully) to curb bacteria.
