3 Effective Dark Circle Remedies To Reduce Them.

Suitcases under the eyes? No problem, here are three effective remedies to reduce dark circles.

After a frenzied evening, I wake up with dark circles and tired eyes.

What to do to hide this? I use cucumber whose pulp is a natural concealer. Sure, it's not as effective as having surgery, but it's so much more natural that it's worth a try.

Moreover, cucumber is one of the ingredients found in our moisturizers and other anti-wrinkle creams, it is rich in vitamin C and water, which allows good hydration.

For dark circles, cucumber has another trick up its sleeve:thanks to its purifying but also astringent properties, it helps to reduce those ugly purplish colors under our eyes. Also to know:cucumber juice is also effective for oily skin because it tightens the pores of the skin.

What to do to conceal dark circles?

Three simple recipes

1. Quick recipe. Put two slices of cucumber in your fridge. Apply these washers on your eyes for 10 minutes.

2. Recipe with cucumber pulp. Reduce the cucumber to a pulp, why not with a food processor which will make the job easier. Take a wipe and soak it in cucumber pulp to apply it to your eyes. Leave on for 15 minutes, and rinse with cold water.

3. Make cucumber milk. Wash your cucumber and cut it into very small pieces. Let it boil in a saucepan for about 20 minutes to reduce it to a puree. Crush well if there are cucumber pieces left. Add to the cucumber puree three teaspoons of white cheese, with 2 or 3 teaspoons of sweet almond if possible and an aloe vera lotion.

Leave to rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour. That's it, you can apply your milk on the eye contour and let it act for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water afterwards.

Savings achieved

Cucumber is not a miracle product but it has natural properties to eliminate dark circles. Instead of paying around twenty euros to buy a concealer cream which won't be much more effective, I prefer to use cucumber which doesn't even cost me a euro.

Easy to make and with few ingredients, I can make my cosmetics myself at home and get the same result as if I had gone to a salon, so I say YES.
